Andy McCall, Corporate Finance Partner
Andy is a First Class Honours Graduate of Nottingham University. He joined Langtons in 1989 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. He was appointed an Audit Manager in 1993 with additional responsibility for clients' special projects. As a result, Andy has gained a wealth of experience in the field of business development with particular emphasis on Corporate Finance. Andy became a partner in May 1996 with responsibility for the firm's Corporate Finance department and has subsequently succeeded in developing Langtons Corporate Finance into a niche adviser on corporate acquisitions, disposals, raising finance and undertaking due diligence work for clients such as 3i Plc, Merseyside Special Investment Fund, North West Equity Fund, HSBC, Halifax Bank of Scotland, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB and Barclays Bank plc.
Dan Jackson, Corporate Finance Partner
Dan is a First Class Honours Graduate of Sheffield University, in Accounting & Financial Management. Dan joined accountancy firm Ernst & Young in 1995, where he specialised in advisory work for owner managed businesses. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998, subsequent to which he provided both lead advisory and financial due diligence services within the Ernst & Young Corporate Finance team. From 2000 onwards Dan spent six years working within the venture capital industry, most recently at the private equity firm Merseyside Special Investment Fund, where he was Investment Director responsible for investing a £40m venture capital fund. During this time he gained significant experience of being the principal decision-maker within a corporate finance transaction. Dan joined Langtons at the start of 2006, with a full focus on corporate finance services, and has successfully completed several transactions for clients since that date.
